Monday Mandalas

We attended a family gathering yesterday.  One family member has become increasingly unkind and made yesterday more difficult than usual.  So, I thought a meditative, mandala making Monday would be uplifting and a great way to start my day and week.  So, that's just what I did.

After an early morning breakfast and cup of coffee, I went out to gather some blossoms from my yard.  It was cool and quiet.  Arranging the flowers was peaceful and it's all I thought of.
Ahhh....it was wonderful! I found some very pretty flowers and colors to play with.

My Monday feels better already!

How pretty! They look like a kaleidoscope! I actually had to look up mandala...it was interesting to read about. I don't know where I've been...but I had no idea what it meant! Enjoy your week! Hugs, Diane

I am glad you found a wonderful way to wipe away the negativity you experienced.

We were with family in Cool, California for Easter weekend. We have never been to Cool. outside of Sacramento on the way to Tahoe.

Love your mandala.

Looks like a wonderful way to relax and make something pretty and different. Love all the different combinations with the same flowers. Thanks for sharing and here is hoping the rest of your day is as relaxing as well.

That bottom one is beautiful.

Sorry about the difficult relative. We had one, too, and it always made family gatherings difficult.

What a lovely activity to brighten any day. I've got a great mandala book I picked up at Costco a few years ago - love just flipping through the pages.

What a lovely thing to create to push all that negative energy away. Remember the saying, you can pick your friends but not your family.

Beautiful mandalas. Unkind people are usually tormented and if you aren't happy with yourself, then you can't be happy for others. Enjoying a quiet, meditative morning is a beautiful way to get back your zen. :) Best wishes, Tammy
