Autumn

The rich, beautiful colors in this shawl bring to mind gorgeous Autumn leaves, cooler temperatures and all those cozy feelings that come with this upcoming season. I think the perfect name for it is "Autumn".

It's created with Trekking yarn, an "I" crochet hook and one of my favorite patterns, "South Bay Shawlette". The finished size is 52" wide at the top and 29" long at the center back. It will provide a litle bit of warmth when the weather gets cooler and add a beautiful splash of color and lacy texture to an outfit...like soft jewelry. With so many pretty colors, I'm sure there will be a lot of outfits this will look great with. There are several ways to wear it...wrapped delicately around the shoulders and to the side...a shawl pin would work great when wearing it this way...

Or, with the point in the front and wrapped around the neck like a scarf...

Or, the traditional way...

I've been making soooo many shawls over the past few months. They're a lot of fun and so pretty but I think it's time I start selling some! So, this one will be going into my Etsy store.

This is very pretty Cheryl! I love the autumn colors. And I haven't picked up a needle or hook yet this week!
