Spring Beauties

Spring is finally starting to pop around here. Wildflowers are starting to bloom and we're even getting some warm, sunshiney days. My daughter and I took our cameras with us yesterday and went to see if the poppy field we found a couple years ago was blooming. It is...

We enjoyed the view for a while and took lots of pictures. I got some great ones of my daughter. Here's one of them...

We also found a golden yellow field. It's covered in tiny yellow daisies that are very fragrant...

Parts of the field are covered in bigger yellow flowers...

Here's a close up. I love the frilly white edges...

We're still on the hunt for a field of lupines. So far, we've only seen large amounts of them along the highway. But, we'll keep searching!

Oh, those are lovely, lovely, lovely!!! Look at those fields full as far as the eye can see.

Gosh, your daughter is pretty! Must take after her dear mother.

Wow, those are awesome! My mom used to have California Poppies growing in her yard every year. She said people would knock on her door and ask if they could take pictures of their kids sitting in them. The bigger yellow daisies are so pretty. They look sort of like our Mexican Blanket wild flowers that grow wild here.
