Here are some things I've been up to lately...

I found this cool striping yarn in January and finally got around to knitting socks with it. I finished this one and I've got a good start on the second. It's so fun to knit with this yarn because it keeps changing colors and making stripes without any extra effort. Cool!
I spun this last week by alternating colors with a creamy white for one strand and plying it with a solid cream strand. It turned out kinda cool. My husband thinks it looks like saltwater taffy.

These are such pretty colors. I agree with the salt water taffy, but it really reminds me of those old fashioned white candies with the bits of jelly mixed in with them.

Good luck with your second sock, too! Can't wait to see photos of the pair.

That is a great sock. Do you know what yarn it is? The taffy yarn is very pretty - I bet it will look great knit up!

It's Lana Grossa Meilenweit Fantasy. I got it at a shop in Encinitas called "Black Sheep". It's so much fun to knit with because of how it changes colors and makes nice stripes without any extra work of changing and weaving ends and stuff. Fun!
