Fantastic Gaptastic

With baby gifts completed and another project finished up this weekend (just waiting to be blocked),
I was able to guiltlessly start a new project.  And, that's just what I did!...

My daughter knitted the GAP-tastic Cowl recently and I loved it.  She's such a sweetheart...
she gave me some of the same yarn but in a different color for Christmas to make one of my own.
I've been so excited to get started.  I cast on Saturday evening.
It's working up so fast that by Sunday evening I had knitted the first skein and it was half done.
I have a feeling I'll be wearing it this week!

Every time I see something knitted I almost start trembling because I want to learn it so bad. And this is just beautiful! I love the gray color too!

Have a great week and a wonderful Valentine's Day! Go buy yourself some roses ♥

Nice stitch pattern. I made a little cowl over the weekend, but I'm not sure I'm going to post about it. It's so odd. I used some yarn my daughter spun for me, so it has a lot of character!

This is looking so pretty. It sounds like you are busy doing for others. If you are like me, you seldom make anything just for yourself, so it was so sweet of your daughter to give you this yarn to work with.

This is so beautiful. If I ever need inspiration I will go to you. Do you prefer knitting to crochet?
