I haven't done this in years...now I want to dye some sock yarn. Maybe I'll pick up some yarn and dye this weekend!

Thank you for sharing.

VanessaAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8726925334003624379.post-47206130177966932742011-04-02T06:38:56.630-07:002011-04-02T06:38:56.630-07:00Looks beautiful! I think the color is very nice, sort of like stawberry Starbursts.Benitahttp://www.basicallybenita.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8726925334003624379.post-80109273106032159392011-03-31T05:45:24.832-07:002011-03-31T05:45:24.832-07:00fun, isn't it? It's amazing how the small colour variations knit up - I think it's very pretty to have alittle variation - hope it turns out nice.Sandrahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15751829480377882527noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8726925334003624379.post-36959762502538887522011-03-30T16:03:35.765-07:002011-03-30T16:03:35.765-07:00That's almost the same color I got when I used...That's almost the same color I got when I used all that Tropical Punch flavor Koolaid on the alpaca. I tried dying some flax yarn with grape... don't do it. It didn't take as well as my alpaca and now that it's dry it's go dark places in it. I also put my Koolaid in a small water glass and put a little water with it to get it completely wet, then poured it into my pot of hot water and yarn. That way I knew there weren't any dry lumps mixed in with the yarn. I'm going to go through all my wool this summer and see what I can work a change of color in.judithhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04070661448170951709noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8726925334003624379.post-1978714786111272332011-03-30T12:28:12.876-07:002011-03-30T12:28:12.876-07:00So, is that what you call sheep dip?
